I also own this beautiful COACH tote....I love a bigger purse and this size is perfect! I can carry my large wallet, makeup bag, keys, sunglasses, and still have lots of room. I have carried this tote maybe 6 months and it still looks "brand new", it does not show wear at all. If you buy this tote you will not be sorry. The exterior is coated so it is easy to keep clean, the interior is a pretty light blue with one inside zip pocket and two small open pockets. Coach bags are made in China however the craftmanship is superb.

I received this bag for Christmas, while the other reviewer above stated it would be good for text books and a laptop, I don't think so. This is a tote, but a mid size one, not a large one at all. It's purse sized and wouldn't fit text books, albet small ones, and you could stick a netbook in it or an ipad but not a large Mac Book Pro type. This bag seems sturdy and you can wipe it clean if it gets dirty. PVC is the material type with a leather handle. I adore this bag, you can carry it by the handle, in the crook of your arm or on your shoulder. The handles are long enough for it to be carried comfortable on the shoulder. Great bag.
